The blade is thinner than I expected. I wouldn’t use it as a survival knife, but it should make a great skinning knife or camp kitchen knife. It would be better for food prep if it was a stainless steel like 14c28n though. The jimping on the spine is wide spaced and will cause hotspots if you’re not wearing gloves. You can definitely feel the peaks pushing into your thumb when using the knife barehanded. The knife rattles a bit in the sheath and the retention could be a bit stronger. The design of the sheath is great, I love the thumb ramp to help draw the knife. Not bad for the price
